Beige coloured sandstone from Spain, which is characterized by its fairly uniform background and fine grain. This is a very uniform sandstone that is also quite versatile in terms of finishes, allowing a wide diversity of textures. The Bateig is a well-known Spanish sandstones whose extraction is mostly controlled by one single quarry, with the beige type as its main varation.

This is a preferential stone to be used on exterior cladding, masonry and diverse decoration work.
